YOUNG historians from a school in Chaddesley Corbett learnt about all things castles when they were treated to a Horrible Histories session.
During the event at Dudley Castle and Zoo, pupils from Winterfold House School were taught about the year 1066, Motte and Bailey castles and the variety of brutal punishments awaiting any criminals.
After the Horrible Histories talk, the children took a trip up the spiral staircase, saw birds of prey and enjoyed a tour of the zoo.
