Bromsgrove nightclub announces closure

Bromsgrove Editorial 24th Apr, 2024   0

A WELL established nightclub in Bromsgrove has officially announced its closure ahead of its conversion into a live music venue.

The team at Truth Nightclub took to social media to announce the venue on Worcester Road was closing and will no longer be operating as a nightclub.

Truth, which has a longstanding history in the town spanning more than two decades, came under new ownership in December 2023.

Previously it has been known as Euphoria, Love 2 Love and 57 Monkeys.

The current owners are planning a refurbishment of the site to transform the space into a live music venue with a focus on performances from tribute acts.

Plans for reopening are scheduled for early June. A spokesperson for Truth Nightclub said: “We have reviewed the performance of the venue along with what we want to offer the people of Bromsgrove.

“We believe something different is needed for the town and for the future of the premises.

“It will become a live music venue with some of the UK’s best tribute acts to bring to a wide and varied audience, giving the people of Bromsgrove something different within the nighttime economy.”
