TWO BROMSGROVE women have raised £2,219 for the town’s Bloodwise branch by holding a charity night at the Belbroughton Club.
Natasha Hickie and Gemma Webster organised the event which was attended by more than 90 people and featured live music by Gemma, a raffle and donations.
The night was held in memory of Natasha’s nan Elizabeth Price who lost her battle with leukaemia in February.
Natasha said: “It was truly fabulous and I’m sure my nan would be very proud.”
Nicole Harris from Bloodwise Bromsgrove said: “It’s a fantastic amount.
“It’s great so many people came together for what is such a worthy cause.”
