FIREFIGHTERS from Redditch and Northfield extinguished a blaze at a property in Alvechurch this morning.

It broke out in a bedroom of the home in Buckleys Green around 5.45am.

Everyone in the property and surrounding ones got out safely.

Four firefighters in breathing apparatus entered the home to extinguish the flames using water jets.
