A CHARITY which provides disabled people with personalised care packages has received a substantial donation from the Rotary Club of North Worcestershire.
At a recent club meeting, Spectrum Days’ chair of trustees Maggie Allen was presented with the cash which will be used to provide both a vibrating floor pad and wheelchair swing platform to extend the range of activities available within the care packages.
In June, she will return to update Rotary Club members on the progress being made.
Graham Mackenzie, president of the Rotary Club of North Worcestershire, said: “This is just the latest and excellent example of where Rotary can support a local charity and help those involved to benefit both themselves and the local community.”
Spectrum Days provides fun, stimulating and safe activities such as music, arts and crafts and sports plus trips.
