Teen charged over burglaries and car thefts in Bromsgrove, Rubery and Cofton Hackett

A TEENAGE boy has appeared in court over burglaries and car thefts.

The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with six counts of burglary, two counts of burglary and eight counts of theft of a motor vehicle.

The charges relate to burglaries of homes and theft of motor vehicles in the Cofton Hackett, Rubery, Redditch and Bromsgrove areas between November 2023 and April 2024.

He appeared at court today and has been remanded into youth detention until his next court appearance at Worcester Crown on May 31.
