YOUNGSTERS from Play Days Playgroup and Active Kids based at St Stpehen’s Church Rednal celebrated England’s patron saint by dressing up as St George and dragons or wearing red.
The children aged from six months to four years were also able to make swords and decorate dragon hats.
And there was a special St George’s Day tea party which featured an England-themed cake for the children to share at snack time.
The parents had drinks and cakes and went home with decorated biscuits, using icing and red sweet laces to make a George Cross.
