WEBBS of Wychbold is expecting a record-breaking festive season – more than 8,500 people have already booked to go skating on the centre’s ice rink and over 10,000 tickets to see Santa have already been sold.
Around 1,200 people enjoyed the ice rink on its opening weekend and the number of bookings already taken is more than double the number it was this time last year.
The firm is hoping to have welcomed more than 25,000 skaters by the time the rink, which has a transparent roof and is open seven days a week (apart from Christmas Day and Boxing Day), closes on January 3.
Last weekend, as well as the rink opening, there was also a stunning free firewood display and, of course, the arrival of Father Christmas and his reindeer.
The famous Webbs Christmas Grotto is open until Christmas Eve, but those wanting to see Santa are advised to book quickly as there are only a few spaces left.
