Police probing 'altercation' between two people at Northfield Railway Station this morning

OFFICERS from British Transport Police are looking into an altercation which happened at Northfield Railway Station this morning.

The police were called at 7.39am and, after speaking to staff there, they examined platform four which would be used by those getting off from Birmingham New Street or those using the train to get to Longbridge, Barnt Green, Alvechurch or Redditch.

A spokesperson from BTP said they were examining CCTV footage in a bid to ascertain what happened.
