The incident happened on Friday at 3.30pm on Hollt Hill Road when the two white men in a small blue car approached the girl, saying they were friends of her mum.

They asked her to get in but the girl did the right thing and declined before safely making her way home.

There she told her mum what had happened.

West Midlands Police confirmed to The Standard they were investigating the incident.

Anyone with any information on what happened on Friday or anyone who has had a similar encounter should call police on 101, quoting log 1833 of September 8.
