Police investigating after shotgun fired at house windows

WEST Midlands Police are investigating after a shotgun was fired at a house in Cheverton Road, Northfield.

Two windows of the property were smashed in the shooting, which happened at around 12.30am today (August 21).

Officers are also investigating another incident where a shotgun was fired at a house in nearby Chatham Road, which happened just after midnight on Monday August 20.

No one has been hurt in the incident.




Det Insp Vanessa Eyles said: “We are in the early stages of our investigation and we are conducting house to house and CCTV enquiries to establish what has gone on.

“Although we cannot categorically link the two incidents together at this stage, this is something we will be exploring.”
