A CALL has gone out for nominations for the Tryangle Awards which celebrate the efforts and achievements of young people in Worcestershire.

Organised by the charity Young Solutions the aim is to highlight the efforts of the real ‘Tryers’ those who achieve against the odds, the unsung heroes who show real commitment and resolve and those who get on with things without making a fuss.

The are open to young people aged 11 – 19 (or up to 24 years with a disability) who have had to overcome personal, health or other difficulties.

There are six categories: Bravery, Arts or Music, Good Friends and Carers, Citizenship and Environment, Sports and Personal Development.

There’s also an adult volunteer award which recognises the contribution of adults to clubs and communities in Worcestershire.
