Man told to 'empty his pockets' during attempted knifepoint street robbery in Rubery

A MAN was told to empty his pockets during an attempted street robbery in Rubery.

The incident happened around 8.45pm on June 6 outside a convenience store on New Road.

The victim was approached by a large group of men on bikes who began shouting comments to him before following him as he walked towards St Chad’s Road.

One of the men showed him the bladed weapon and told him to empty his pockets.




He was white, had dark brown hair and was wearing a grey hooded jacket and grey shorts. He also had a distinctive scar across his cheek.
