A LAPTOP and car keys were stolen from a home in Cofton Hackett during a burglary where the thieves then took a camera, briefcase and memory stick from the vehicle.

The house on Barnt Green Road was broken into between 11pm last Monday (November 9), and 7.20am the next day when the victim found their car doors and boot open. The intruders took the keys to the Audi S5 from a ledge near the front door and the computer from the front room.

Police do not know how the thieves managed to enter through the locked door of the property as there was no letterbox and no rod instrument had been used.
