Halloween horrors on the agenda at Avoncroft for half-term

Bromsgrove Editorial 21st Oct, 2016   0

THERE will be everything from pumpkin carving to spooky trails at Avoncroft Museum this half-term as the venue holds its annual Halloween festivities.
The fun begins on Tuesday (October 25) and runs until Sunday (October 30) with visitors being able to listen to creepy tales from the crypt and fly around Avoncroft on their homemade broomsticks.
The museum’s grand 19-acre site will play host to an outdoor Hidden Horrors tour which includes exploring the collection of the 30 historic buildings.
Normal museum admissions apply with just a £4 additional charge for carving a pumpkin in the New Gusten Hall.
Once Halloween is done the museum will continue to entertain residents with their traditional bonfire night on November 5. Those who wish to help make the Guy can join in at 2pm and make a lantern to take part in the lantern parade.

There will be an outdoor barbecue and the tea room will be open for other drinks.
There will be no fireworks at the event making it suitable for everyone.
Entry is £4 per person and the bonfire gates will open at 4pm.
