A WOMAN was punched and threatened with a knife by masked raiders who burst into the Frankie and Bennys on Rubery’s Great Park and fled with the takings in her car.

The incident happened just after midnight on Monday (July 21) as the female member of staff was about to close.

After taking the cash, the pair escaped in the employee’s black Vauxhall Astra which was parked on the restaurant’s car park and had the registration FN07 NZT.

Sgt Greg Evans has urged any witnesses, anyone who saw the vehicle or anyone with any information to call him at West Midlands Police CID on 101 number.
