A POPULAR nursery in Sidemoor will close its doors for the final time at 6pm this evening.

Daisychain Home Nursery was opened by Sue Onions and Janet Turberville in 1994.

The pair have enjoyed caring for children and their families for the past 23 years.

All the children and staff will be enjoying a party day to mark the end of an era.

The event will include a bouncy castle, party games and ice creams.

Sue and Jan told The Standard: “We would like to thank all the children and families who have attended Daisychain, past and present, for all their support and custom over the years and to wish them and all the staff success and happiness in the future.”
