CBE medal stolen from Alvechurch home

PRESTIGIOUS medals including a CBE were stolen from an Alvechurch home.

Thieves forced their way into the Aqueduct Lane property about 8.25pm on Tuesday, December 16, stealing jewellery and a fire-axe as well as two engraved medals. One was a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) medal, while the second was West Midlands Fire Service’s long service award.

Three people were seen running from the address and a vehicle with distinctive roof bars was spotted leaving the area.
