VOLUNTEERS from Catshill Community Library and local residents came together to toast the venue’s first anniversary last Tuesday (April 22).
Those who went along picked up handy tips and tricks during an iPad taster session with adult learning tutor Sally Gleaves and there were colouring and poetry competitions, along with craft activities to create a commemorative ‘celebration wall’.
The venue was opened last April after changes made by Worcestershire County Council to its Library Service.
Catshill Community Library manager Katie Stanton said: “It was absolutely fantastic to see so many members of the village coming together in celebration of what has become a real community library.”
