BROMSGROVE builders Mister & Missus Ltd have been awarded the title of Best Heritage Project in the Midlands area, part of the prestigious Master Builder Award scheme.
The builders received the accolade their work on the restoration of a grade two listed 1850s Georgian house located in Edgbaston.
After winning the local award Mister & Missus Ltd will now face off against the rest of the country in the national finals, set to take place at the Intercontinental Park Lane Hotel in London on September 15.
Currently in its 13th year, the awards programme is organised by the Federation of Master Builders and allows customers to have their say in who takes home the prize.
John Watson, FMB central director, said: “Mister & Missus Ltd should feel justly proud of this achievement in winning and we wish the company every success in the national competition.”
He went onto say that the scheme allows customers to give their thanks to the building companies who contribute so much to the UK economy.
If the company does go on to scoop up the national prize then they will be rewarded with a Vauxhall vehicle worth £20,000 and a cheque for £1,000.
