Bromsgrove Baptist Church 350th birthday celebrations continue at tomorrow's service

MEMBERS of Bromsgrove Baptist Church have literally been following in the footsteps of the organisation’s founder to mark the organisation’s 350th birthday.

John Eccles, a young clothier, walked from Bewdley to Bromsgrove in 1666 to start the church by speaking to local people.

The commemorations will continue tomorrow (Sunday) when Tom Cox, a young minister from Bewdley, will head to the Bromsgrove Baptist Church to speak at the 10.30am service.

The programme of events, which will culminate in a weekend of fun family events on November 19 and 20, are open to everyone.

The Big Birthday Bash Messy Church event will be followed by a Ceilidh that evening.

Then on November 20, international speaker David Coffey will be joining members for a celebration lunch.
