Winter woollies to keep animals warm this winter

Bromsgrove Editorial 20th Dec, 2015 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016   0

ABANDONED animals will be warm this winter, thanks to staff and residents at Breme Care Home, in Bromsgrove who knitted blankets for the Blue Cross.

The project was carried out as part of World Kindness Day – a day in which people spread acts of kindness to each other.

Once the knitted squares were joined together they formed eight blankets for the homeless pets.

Everyone involved enjoyed knitting the blankets, with one resident, Nancy Wilkes, stating she ‘thoroughly loved’ helping the charity.
