RUBERY singer Scott Cartwright, along with Emma Nuule from Norwich and Alesi Summer from Sutton Coldfield are through to the semi-finals of this year’s Search for a Star.
Scott wowed the crowd with Greased Lightning, Bring Him Home and Raise Me Up, while Alesi sang Never Walk Alone and One Night Only.
Emma took to the stage to perform Omo Babbino Caro, I could Have Danced All Night and If I loved you.
The annual talent contest takes place at Austin Social Club and the winner, runners-up and finalists get a share of £5,000 prize money.
The next heat from 8pm on Saturday sees eight more acts take to the stage.
Admission to watch the show, which boasts more than three hours of live entertainment, is £4.
