BROMSGROVE residents will be able to get help and advice on cancer and sun safety when Macmillan’s mobile service comes to the town on Tuesday (July 26).

A team of cancer specialists will be available to answer questions, support and inform people of local cancer services outside Lloyds Bank, High Street, from 10am to 4pm.

Everyone is welcome, whatever their concern is.

There will be advice on sun safety but the team is unable to carry out skin checks.

Macmillan’s information and support specialist, Jo Scott, said: “Skin cancer if caught early is very treatable and has one of the highest survival rates of all cancers.

“We can provide information on a range of issues including, different treatments, financial advice, exercise and getting back to work’.

Visit www.macmillan.org.uk for more on the mobile service. Anyone unable to make Tuesday’s visit can call 0808 808 00 00 from 9am to 8pm between Monday and Friday.

Anyone wanting to fund-raise for Macmillan should call 0300 1000 200 for more information. BROMSGROVE residents will be able to get help and advice on cancer and sun safety when Macmillan’s mobile service comes to the town on Tuesday (July 26).
