A YOUNG performer has made it to the final round of auditions for a West End production of Matilda the Musical.
Ben Lee, ten, has been a student at The Star Project Theatre School for over four years in Barnt Green.
At the beginning of 2018 Ben, who dreams of becoming a professional performer, auditioned for the role of Bruce in Matilda and has made it through two rounds against hundreds of other boys his age.
Ben is now down to the last eight and will be travelling to London this month to the Sylvia Young Theatre School where he will complete his last auditions.
A Star Project spokesperson said: “We are extremely proud of Ben, who shows dedication to his craft, week after week. Ben is a joy to teach and deserves every success that comes his way.”
