A COBBLERS iron shoe last which was of great sentimental value to the owner has been stolen during a burglary in Bromsgrove.

The item was taken from the home in Bishops Hall Crescent, Charford, between midday and 2pm on Thursday (July 2).

It is believed the raiders got into the property via an unlocked door.

A shoe last is a foot-shaped mould that would have been used by cobblers to shape or repair shoes.
