MP organises meeting for Hanbury residents concerned about speeding through the village

Bromsgrove Editorial 17th Sep, 2021   0

RESIDENTS in Hanbury concerned about speeding through the village can go along to a public meeting next Friday, September 24.

The event – from 3.30pm to 4.15pm at Hanbury CE First School – has been organised by MP Rachel Maclean and is open to everyone and will be followed by a pop-up drop-in surgery with the Member of Parliament.

Earlier this month a much-loved Hanbury resident died after being hit by a car on School Road and there have long been calls for the speed limit to be lowered.

People are urged to take along a brief written summary so the MP can keep it for her records and corresponding with Government departments or other relevant organisations.

Anyone with questions should email [email protected] or call her office on 01527 591334.
