THE NEW community radio station which will serve Rubery and south Birmingham will go live on February 10.
South Birmingham Radio, which was revealed by The Standard in October, is also looking for people to fulfil a number of voluntary roles.
Among them are someone to co-ordinate the bookings for the station mascot for public events and private parties and a receptionist to supervise and assist presenters during the day.
A sales and marketing team is also needed to promote the station and the get general and programme sponsorship, organise events and everything in between.
A meeting was due to be held last night at the new base near The Great Park.
