A LARGE amount of money was stolen when a Bromsgrove bookies was burgled.

The incident, at the premises on Worcester Road, happened about 7.35pm on June 15.

The one man was of mixed race, about 6ft tall and had short black receding hair. He was wearing a white T-shirt which had a circle logo with a cross through it on the front.

The second was white and was wearing a grey woolly hat or a large wellington sock over his face with two holes cut into it so he could see. He also had grey masking tape stuck to the lower part of his face and was wearing dark jeans and a black hooded jacket with the hood down. It is believed the man had an abnormality or swelling on the knuckle of the middle finger on his left hand.

One of the men is thought to have headed towards Bromsgrove Town Centre after leaving the shop.

Any witnesses or anyone with any information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
