Jellybabies help harvest festival for homeless

Bromsgrove Editorial 9th Oct, 2014 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016   0

YOUNGSTERS from Jellybabies Nursery donated food to the local homeless when they took part in the annual harvest festival.

As well as the special service taken by Rev Mary Shannahan, the children learnt about sharing and caring for others.

They joined in with the interactive story The Little Red Hen and sang the song ‘Miss Polly had a Dolly’.

Nursery manager Jacqueline Walker said: “The children sang beautifully and joined in well with the service – we are very proud of them.”
