THE DIY SOS episode which saw the team help a family in need in Rednal was broadcast on BBC One on Wednesday.

Charlotte and Chris have twins who were born prematurely and have global development delay, which has slowed down their progress of walking and talking.

With the family’s cramped house hindering the children’s development even further, the DIY SOS team went in and, with a host of volunteers from the local community, helped them transform their living space, improve their lives and give the family a better future.

Viewers gave their opinions of the show on our Bromsgrove Standard Facebook page.

Julie Barlow wrote: “Excellent job for a lovely family. Hope those boys benefit from all that fantastic work. x”

Juliet Elliott said: “An excellent job DIY SOS, a lovely family too.”

Jan Peters wrote: “What a beautiful family and so deserving of the fantastic work from the DIY SOS team, plus local builders etc. Who so willingly gave their time amd skills.”
