Can you help solve the Rubery postcards mystery?

Bromsgrove Editorial 27th Oct, 2014 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016   0

STAFF at a Rubery bakery have enlisted The Standard’s help in a bid to find the owners of some historic postcards which were dropped at the shop.

The cards, which were postmarked in the early 1900s in Hockley, Birmingham, depict a man and a woman in old-fashioned clothing.

They were found at Greggs on New Road on August 21 in a plastic wallet.

Linda Parker-Hughes, who contacted us, said: “Because of how they had been preserved, we think someone must treasure them and we really want to reunite them with the owner.”

Anyone with any information should call into Greggs in Rubery or phone the store on 0121 457 9130.
