BROMSGROVE Indoor Bowls Club is to host this year’s prestigious World Cup of short mat bowls.
Eight countries will descend on the Austin Road-based club for the tournament which starts today (Friday) before the new bowls season gets fully underway with the UK Open tomorrow (Saturday).
Belgium, England, Ireland, Isle of Man, Norway, Sweden, Wales and a Rest of the World team will feature in only the second World Cup sponsored by clothing retailer Bowls Trader.
