VISITORS to Avoncroft Museum over the bank holiday weekend will be hoping to have the wind in their sails.
The museum’s 19th century windmill will be in operation on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday (April 3, 5 and 6).
Those who go along will be able to see how the team of specially trained volunteers prepare the mill and set the sails for grinding corn.
On Easter Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday, there will also be family fun days where visitors will be able to have a go at traditional games, try their hand at archery and watch re-enactors recreate life at the museum.
The Bromsgrove Society of Model Engineers will also be running their popular miniature railway.
At 2.30pm on Easter Sunday, there will also be a service of Easter praise in the Victorian Mission Church, which everyone is welcome to attend.
The opening times are from 10.30am to 5pm.
Admission is £8.80 for adults, £7.70 for seniors and £4.50 for children. Avoncroft Museum members are admitted free of charge.
