TWO OF the people involved in the serious crash in Frankley yesterday have died.
The crash, at 11.51am on Ravenhayes Road, involved a grey Kia Ceed and a white Peugeot Expert.
Four people sustained serious injuries and were taken to hospital via ambulance and air ambulance but police have now confirmed a five-year-old boy who was in the Kia and the driver of the Peugeot, a 41-year-old man, have both passed away.
The passenger in the Peugeot remains in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and the three other people in the Kia Ceed are also in hospital.
A 35-year-old woman and a 40 year-old man have injuries which are both not believed to be life threatening, a nine-week old baby was uninjured in the collision.
Insp Andrew Bennett from West Mercia Police said “Our thoughts are very much with the families of those involved in the collision and specially trained officers are supporting them.
“We are investigating the circumstances of what happened and I would like to appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision or could help to call police on 101 quoting reference 300s of 4 November.”
