BROMSGROVE School’s First netball team are celebrating after being crowned County Champions.
Following wins over Malvern College, King’s Worcester, RGS Worcester, Hanley Castle and Malvern St James, the team will represent Worcestershire in the West Midlands Finals in January.
And there was also good news for team member Lauren Brown who has been selected to play for the U21 new national netball franchise Wasps.
Other team members Kitty Luscombe, Ella Gardner and Katie Morrice have also been picked for the U17 team.
The creation of Wasps Netball, which will play its home games in the Ricoh Arena’s Jaguar Exhibition Hall, comes after Wasps were named as one of three new teams to compete in the Superleague.
