THERE will be a host of fun for all the family at the Bromsgrove Blue Cross summer fete which will be held at the centre in Wildmoor Lane tomorrow (Saturday).
It starts at midday and runs until 4pm and admission is just £1 for adults and free to children under 14.
In the line-up will be more than 70 stalls, workshops, children rides, the chance to handle snakes and spiders, GO karts, birds of prey from Hawkeye and much more.
There will also be the grand parade of Blue Cross dogs in the main show ring at 12.50pm so anyone who has a rescue dog from the Blue Cross is welcome to take along their four-legged friend and show them off.
There will be goodie bags for all participants and there will also be a fun dog show which features a variety of classes. Among them are best child handler (under 14), best veteran dog (over seven years old), dog with the waggiest tail, dog with the saddest eyes, dog most like its owner, happiest rescue dog, judges’ favourite and best six legs.
Entry is 50p for each class and rosettes are available for the first to sixth places. Judging starts at 1pm.
The charity is still looking for donations of unwanted china, glass, books, toys, DVDs and jumble for the bric-a-brac stall – anyone who has any items they want to donate can drop it into the centre or call to arrange a collection.
