Hanbury Hall's historic village fete gets ready for visitors

THE HANBURY Village Fete will be in full swing once again tomorrow (Saturday).

The event will once again been held in Hanbury Hall as it has been since 1912, keeping the 100-year-old tradition.

Visitors can enjoy the Second Chance Jazz Band who will perform along with traditional afternoon tea, entertainment from Hanbury first School, an inflatable play centre children’s tea cup ride, vintage cars and archery.

There will also be several stalls for residents the chance to buy a series of goodies.




Michele Dunn, representing the Hanbury Fete Committee, said “We hope the variety of attractions that have been arranged will be enjoyed by everyone that attends, it’s always a really special afternoon in good old fashioned country tradition.”

Entry costs £2.50 for adults and children are free.
