FIRE crews from across the county are currently battling a blaze in a cottage in Romsley.
Firefighters from Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Redditch, Evesham and West Midlands Fire and Rescue were called to Farley Lane at 9.15am today (Tuesday). There are still three units on the scene.
The fire service believe the incident started in the light fitting of the upstairs bathroom and spread to the thatch.
An Urban Search and Rescue team also attended, who are usually called to deal with victims trapped in structural collapses, but there have been no reports of anyone stuck in the building or injured at this time.
