Blue Cross appeals to residents to offer loving homes for its animals

THE BLUE Cross is appealing to residents to offer loving homes for its animals this Christmas.

The charity, in Catshill, is hoping pets such as Bolt, a four-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier, and five-year-old tabby cat Elektra, will have loving homes this Yuletide.

The organisation understands that whilst it cares greatly for its animals, it cannot compete against a loving family home.

Moreover, Christmas can be a lonely time for some, and a new pet could bring company and joy to those who are alone at this time of the year.

The Blue Cross will remain open over the holiday season to help with re-homing.

Anyone who can welcome a pet into their home this Christmas or anyone who wants to donate to the cause should call 0300 777 1460, e-mail [email protected] or visit www.bluecross.org.uk for more.
