Warning after morphine medicine is stolen from Rednal

POLICE are on the hunt for some medication which was stolen from a vehicle in Rednal and could be dangerous in the wrong hands.

The Fentanyl patches and a bottle of Oramorph – which contains morphine – were taken from the car at 8.45am this morning (Monday) while it was parked in Rednal Lane.

Anyone who finds the items is urged to hand them in to their nearest police station.

If anyone who it has not been prescribed for has taken it, they need to seek medical attention immediately.




Any witnesses or anyone with any information on the theft should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
