Firefighters cut two people free after three-car crash in Bromsgrove

TWO PEOPLE were cut from cars after a three-vehicle crash in Bromsgrove.

The incident, involving a blue VW Golf, a silver BMW and a silver Nissan Aventura, happened outside the West Midlands Ambulance Station in Lickey End about 7.15pm last night (Tuesday).

Two fire crews were sent from Bromsgrove and two ambulances also attended the scene.

One man, who was 72 years old, suffered back injuries and, after being freed from his vehicle by firefighters, was taken to Redditch’s Alexandra Hospital.




Another, who was also released by a crew using hydraulic cutting equipment, sustained chest pain.

He was also taken to the Alexandra Hospital.


Another person was out before the emergency services got there.

Witnesses or anyone with any information should call police on 101.
