Builders do more than their bit for Northfield community

THE BUILDERS who refit Sainsbury’s supermarkets have undertaken a variety of community projects across South Birmingham.

Employees from Base Build Services have repainted the staff room at St Brigid’s, donated items to the B30 Food Bank and constructed and tarmacced a pathway for children at Northfield’s Victoria School. That, along with a turning circle, will enable pupils to have easier access to the orchard where they can look at the trees and plants.

The company also joined forces with staff at Sainsbury’s Northfield to raise more than £600 and donate food to Fisher House which provides a place for the families of injured servicemen and women to stay while they are receiving treatment at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
