THIRD place VBG Fairfield racked up double figures on Sunday morning as they romped to a 10-1 victory at Rubery Athletic.

Richard Bishop and Shaun May bagged hat-tricks with Ellis Blakemore, Laurance Martin, Ryan Molesworth and Scott Smith completing Fairfield’s scoring.

Ryan Brown netted Athletic’s consolation.

Unbeaten Bromsgorve & District League leaders Thomas Brothers picked up their eighth win of the season after running out 3-0 winners at basement club The Grove.

Richard Tyler netted twice with Stuart Hall adding the third.

Down in Division One, the only game of the day saw second place Chaddesley Corbett draw 2-2 at Spa Athletic.

Rednal Social Club are the new Division Two leaders after they ran out 6-1 winners at home to bottom side Bridgfield courtesy of a Jordan Markall hat-trick and singles from Tom Windsor-Price, Michael Diggins and Luke Stanley.

Division Three saw a clash between the top two sides but neither Chaddesley Corbett Reserves and league leaders Rubery FC could claim maximum points as they played out a 1-1 draw.

Substitue Joe East netted for Chaddesley, Brogan Halpin for Rubery.

Bartley Green Sunday progressed into the semi-finals of the LMS Shield after finishing top of Group C with a 6-2 victory over Sporting Rednal thanks to four goals from Connor Collins and efforts from Dan Lawrence and Dominic Strevens.

Elsewhere, Alcester Town booked their place in the semi-finals of the Premier Cup after edging past Oak Tree sporting 5-4 in a thrilling nine-goal encounter.

Two goals from Ellis Kalach and singles from Jamie Gifford, Dean Hay and Lewis Marston ensured Town snatched a narrow victory.
