With the leaf fall timetable starting on Monday, rail users are urged to plan their journeys

RAIL PASSENGERS who use the Cross-City Line are being urged to be aware that the autumn leaf fall timetable begins on Monday (October 19).

The schedule, which means a number of trains will not stop at every station and some stations will have fewer trains, runs from then until December 12, until 8pm each evening.

Because two trains in every six will be effective, it means some people may have to catch a train either ten minutes earlier or ten minutes later than usual.

The Cross-City Line runs from Redditch to Lichfield, via Alvechurch, Barnt Green, Northfield and Longbridge.
