Traditional panto fun to come to Bromsgrove

RESIDENTS young and old will be able to see the Jigsaw Players’ version of Dick Whittington when it comes to The Trinity Centre, formerly Lickey Parish Hall.

Performances of the traditional panto by Bob Heather will take place at 7pm next Friday and Saturday (December 5 and 6) and there will be matinees on the Saturday and Sunday (December 7) at 1.30pm.

Further shows will be at 7pm from the following Thursday to Saturday (December 11 to 13) and at 1.30pm on the Saturday.

The rag-to-riches story centres around Dick Whittington and his cat who travel to London to seek fame and fortune.




Those who go along can cheer and sing along as they will on the hero and his sidekick to succeed and defeat the evil Queen Rat.

Director Maggie Bishton said: “We have two amazing and talented teams of children, youth and adults.


“The panto is lots of fun and gives that great feel good factor for Christmas.”
