THE ORGANISER of the annual Bromsgrove Day of Kindness will have a stall on the High Street next Friday (November 13).

Phil Haynes, as he has been unable to organise a proper Day of Kindness this year, wants local residents to come down into the town centre on that day to give out cards or greetings to others.

He told The Standard: “Here is a chance for us all to stop and reflect for a moment and do and feel something nice, a bit like the first day in 2005.”

He will also be on hand to speak to people about what is happening in the UK and the World today and about why he organised the Day of Kindness in the first place.

Phil will also be promoting the re-release of the Bromsgrove Christmas song ‘It’s Christmas in Our Town’ which he said, probably did not do as well as it should have last year as its release was delayed until December 15.

A percentage of the proceeds from the downloads will go to Bromsgrove charity Libby Mae’s Little Angels.

The video for the song can be viewed by typing in ‘It’s Christmas in our town by Vintage 12’ at www.youtube.com and it is available to download for 79p on iTunes, Spotify, emusic, Amazon MP3 and Google Play.
