THERE will be street theatre for all the family throughout the first three weeks of the school summer holidays.

The events will run from 11am to 3pm on selected dates between Wednesday (July 27) to August 11.

This year, street theatre will visit The Rec, outside Asda, Wythall Park, Catshill Meadow, Hagley Park and Rubery St Chad’s Park.

Performances include Angie Mack Hula Hoop show, The Cowboys Show from the Bread and Butter Theatre Company and Circus Fudge Blunderfudge.

There will be children’s activities at the events too, including face painting, pony rides, animal mania and more.

Val Wilson, Bromsgrove District Council’s arts and events officer, said the street theatre had become more and more popular each year.

“This year’s acts look set to wow the crowds with daredevil tricks, magic and plenty of comedy.

“So while the kids are on their holidays, keep them entertained and pop down to one of these fab events.”
