Residents given chance to shape mental health at meeting

Bromsgrove Editorial 13th Aug, 2016 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016   0

RESIDENTS interested in shaping the future of local mental health services are being invited to attend a public meeting as part of an on-going consultation exercise.

Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust and local healthcare commissioners last week launched a 10 week consultation into the future of some of the services which support those experiencing more serious mental health difficulties.

There is an online survey available along with a consultation document outlining the proposals in detail on the trust’s website www.hacw.nhs.uk/amhconsultation; but it is also hosting four events, including one in Redditch, for people to attend.

It’s on Monday, August 15 at Redditch Town Hall from 2pm to 4pm.

People are asked to confirm attendance in advance by emailing [email protected] or by calling 01905 760222 (9am until 5pm).
