Plenty of silly creations at the latest Bromsgrove Clandestine Cake Club meeting

A BROMSGROVE cake club marked their second secret meeting last week with 14 people in attendance.

Members of the Clandestine Cake Club met last Thursday (April 7) and the theme of Something Silly saw many creative contributions, including a fish (shaped) cake, a chocolate salami fridge-cake and a peanut butter and jelly bread-cake.

There were also two cakes named in honour of the late Ronnie Corbett – a four candles cake and a ‘worm that turned’ cake.

Group leader Sharon Smith said: ”At our latest event we had a lot more cake brought along and it felt a lot busier.

“Since then, nine new members have signed up and we’re very pleased with the turnout at both events we’ve held.”
